I've read a lot of fics about how Movie!Verse Sonic and Shadow meet again after Sonic 3 and while a lot of them have been the same(/pos) I now want to write a fic inspired by both Shadow's past with Maria and the Knuckles TV Show

Imagine if Shadow crash lands to earth, lost and wandering without a purpose. And it taken by an ex G.U.N. agent to try and use him to cure a child of a terminal illness that will kill her. (Bonus for those who have seen Sonic X: I want her to be named Helen.)

Eventually, though, Sonic and the gang come across the operation and "save" Shadow, though they quickly find out he doesn't want to be saved, to be continuously be used as he always has been.

How the story follows along with Shadow learning to actually be a living being and not some tool, all while trying to still desperately save a little girl's life all over again.

I don't know, I just think it's neat.

Yet, as she looked around there was one person she couldn't find Kita and Riseki. Hm, how odd. Trying to think about where team captain was would be for later. Shaking her head, Y/N sucked in a breath and in the loudest, calmest, non-screaming voice, let out a deep "Oi."

She reads frequently about dungeon exploration and tries to study monsters from the limited material she has. Chilchuck, who has been doing dungeon work for some time, is happy to tell her about it.
